There you go, the poster!
Overall, the movie tells me one thing: the bond between family is strong and unbreakable no matter how much storms come by. The story set in the world after the Earth was destroyed, which was the Nova Prime. Why was the Earth destroyed? Well, shortly it was because of the environment cataclysm. At first, the movie opened up a story between the father, Cypher and his son, Kitai which was not in the best state as they were not always together. As an alternative to tighten the bond between them, Cypher decided to take Kitai together for his last voyage before retirement. The adventure was sure an adventurous one. Their ship crashed on the abandoned surface of Earth, which was actually now a living place for deadly monster and gruesome creatures. Cypher was badly injured and Kitai, dumbfounded, tried to help his father. The communication line was not at its best, thus they could not contact the Rangers (the helping force from Nova Prime) for aid. Feeling the urge to survive, Kitai gathered up his courage to go the the highest peak of a mountain to find signal. The challenge was the worst. Kitai almost dead and Cypher was unconscious. At the end, Kitai managed to fight off a monster and find the signal to help him and his father out of Earth. After the catastrophe, the bond between Cypher and Kitai became closer and tighter.
In short words, the values which I found very essential is to love your family no matter what happen. This is because they are your only companions when you are having your breakdowns and bad days. Your friends will come and go, but family always stays. The second value is to appreciate what Mother Nature has in store for us. The Nova Prime was built because the Earth was destructed. Therefore, value the plants and greeneries all around you. They might disappear one day if you just let your eyes off them even just for a tad while.
Okay, I think that's all from me. Do not forget to watch the movie in case you have not watched it yet, who knows it might mend your broken relationship with your family or just tighten them a little bit more. Thanks for reading. Stay tuned for other post!
